Major Overhaul 10ft Comet in Graman

On inspection, we found a broken Crosshead with worn main bearing.
Gwydir Water Services ordered a new major overhaul kit through Comet Windmills which includes driveshaft, connecting rod, crosshead with pins and dowels, swivel, and bearings.
We returned to the site and completed the repairs:
- Removed the head, fan and tail off the tower with our Hiab crane truck
- Removed fan and tail
- Installed all the major overhaul kit plus all new oil wicks and oil
- Reinstalled the fan and tail
- Tightened and replaced nuts and bolts where required
- Refitted it to the 30 foot comet tower ready for anther 20 or 30 years of pumping
